At Vine Harvest Education & Shoe Foundation, we believe that supporting vulnerable children in Kenya goes beyond providing access to quality education — it’s about improving every part of their lives. That’s why we recently launched our Mattress Donation Campaign to provide essential comfort for children in need, and the response was truly inspiring.
Thanks to the kindness of our community, we donated 30 mattresses to children from disadvantaged backgrounds. The generosity didn’t stop there. The Sisters of Mercy matched our donation, raising the total to 60 mattresses that will be delivered to children and families on 24th June 2022.
This incredible achievement was made possible through a meaningful partnership with Super Foam Ltd, who offered subsidized mattress rates to support our mission. Their collaboration was instrumental in turning this vision into reality.
The Mattress Campaign Kenya is more than just providing a place to sleep — it’s about showing these children that they are seen, valued, and cared for. A simple mattress can transform a child’s nights, giving them the rest they need to stay healthy, focused, and hopeful for a better future.
As we prepare for the mattress distribution, we’re reminded of the power of community-driven charity initiatives in Kenya. Together, we are creating lasting change and making it possible for children in need to live with dignity and comfort.
